Preparation for early Summer opening!

Saturday, saw our semaphore Up Starting signal connected to the rebuilt signal cabin – allowing public demonstration of traditional mechanical signal working – as part of the overall experience of the working of a remote Country railway in the West of Ireland!

We also carried out essential track work and improved public amenities, such as the start of resurfacing of our main passenger platform.
Recently delivered trackwork was also sorted and stored safely on site.
